Former FIFA president Sepp Blatter and ex-UEFA president Michel Platini have been charged with fraud.

It follows a six-year investigation in Switzerland right into a fee of two million Swiss francs (£1.6m) going to Platini from FIFA.

85-year-old Blatter and former French footballer Platini, 65, may now face a trial withing months following an announcement from Swiss federal prosecutors.
